The leads had very cute chemistry. The plot moved at a comfortable pace (not too fast and not too slow). I loved the enemies to lovers trope in this drama. The way how they had completely different opinions of each other’s genders and how they learned how their past lived experiences influenced their thoughts may not always reflect whole groups of people was very cute to watch. The female lead’s fighting skills were very satisfying to watch because it looked natural. The male lead opening up to the female lead gradually was also a delight to watch.

I cried throughout the movie. It's so sad and realistic. The shots are so beautiful, and the acting is really good. 10/10 recommend this movie to watch when you want to be in your feels. Although the google synopsis of the movie is more focused on the love of the main leads and their reflection of it after they've separated, I feel like I was most affected by the relationship of the main leads and the dad. It's probably where I could relate to the most. Jianqing and Xiao Xiao's relationship is the literal definition of young and reckless. I would totally watch this movie again. It's a good thing it's on Netflix. (or else I wouldn't have been able to watch it)
