Atari boasted that this was the first 3d graphics racing simulation game. There are stories of people saying this game taught them how to drive a stick shift. I absolutely love this game. I spent many many quarters playing it at the local community center. I'm in the process right now of purchasing a compact arcade cabinet version. I own the Sega Genesis/Megadrive version and the DOS version. The DOS version > Genesis/Megadrive version, and of course neither hold a candle to the arcade version.
