Thick accents, dark and dreary backdrop, lack luster special effects, weak musical numbers and the story line was shallow. Very sad to use the "Mary Poppins" name on such a dud. It was nice to see Dick Van dyke pull off a little number but the original from over 50 years ago had all basses covered. Granddaughter and I were both bored.
