I can only give this game three stars. Not because of how it plays or how it looks or sounds. The main reason i give it three stars is the way capcom purposely adjust the in game currency prices so you end up spending more than you have to. For instance i don't know the actual figures, but lets say to buy a character is 350 game points. The lowest amount to purchase is 300 game points. They do this purposely so you end up with game points you don't need. This is clearly so your coaxed in to buying extra DLC. I was a huge fan of Streetfighter games but to me this is spitting in the true fans faces. People may disagree and thats fair but its put me off this game completely, still looks nice and plays well so if your up for throwing some cash away then by all means give it a go.

I haven't finished it yet but at first sight i was a little disappointed but after a few hours of playing im seeing a lot of appeal. Great if your a fan of the original like me. The look of it is flawless and feels like the original movie. The only thing ive had issue with is the interactions. The npc's feel wooden and lifeless to me. I was hoping for some of that unapologetic gritty dialogue from the original also.

Dave Bautista didn't feel right for the role of tong po.. should of been an asian actor, and he wasn't as half as scary as the original. In general i like him but just not in this one. The main character is awful.. just has no personality and i found it hard to root for him, on the up side van damme is the best part of this film, i really enjoyed his charismatic approach to his character. Below average for me.

How people hate on this game so much is beyond me, the story didn't follow conventional paths and that's the best thing about it from my opinion, and its also the thing that is most Criticised, i found it extremely engaging and it kept me hooked from start to finish with some real emotional beats and shocking plot twists, the graphics are some real eye candy, never has decay and destruction looked so good, the gameplay isn't innovative but it isn't bad either, i really liked how much patience is needed, the gameplay goes from super easy to completely realistic The unconventional direction of the story is what got the biggest criticism and i struggle to understand why. Overall i can't give the last of us II enough praise, its a real experience and i would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the first game.
