This movie was totally awesome!!! It didn't have a great cast and didn't gross what it should have. However the overall originality to take a zombie tone movie and entrench it in a world war 2 theme was brilliant. I thought J.J. ABRAHAMS really crushed it again! The only movie I think he flopped on was the cloverfield Paradox. I hope they make a sequel to overlord because it was left open at the end and it was a great movie in my opinion.

Watching it right now and there are similarities to a quiet place. However it's a group of people and then one mother and two kids. Although Quiey place at the end only has Emily Blount and her kids. More to the point using sight for these invisible monsters ask the sense for human kinds downfall and tossing in the happening on some level distances it self from a quiet place as well. Solid cast also with Malkovich, Paulson, Trevante Rhodes and Bullock. I would give this movie a 7 out of 10.
