I loved this series, it never went where I thought it would.

Overall, worth watching. Loved the leads, acting was great - Ruth Negga a stand out. It is not an over the top feeling movie, but the message came through - sadness is felt, and differently, by all. Much was up to your perception and interpretation.

I thought it showed a complex relationship, the side issues were interesting.

Great to have a woman hero, flaws and all. Different perspective, music, relationships, etc. Even though there’s a formula, the Queen adds something different that makes me come back. I haven’t watched a lot of broadcast tv in the past 5 years - so I hope it will continue to develop the other characters and keep me engaged.

Great concept, funny & clever - it keeps you surprised. It has the philosophy piece hidden inside so you get drawn into what it means without sacrificing the humor and action. Cast is fantastic - no dead spots.
