Brutal, chilling, horrific, unsettling, captivating. Just a couple of words that scratch the surface of the show, that is Chernobyl. From start to finish, every episode leaves you naked and breathless. Brilliant. Portrays the Soviet way of life in a very raw and “matter-of-fact” way, almost devoid of emotion. Those poor lads who were sent in to clear up the graphite after the core exploded, absolutely heartbreaking. Excellent series. Can not recommend highly enough. A must see!
