The better movies are the ones you don't realise go quickly. This movie is not one of those frenetic movies but the character of Jessie is so compelling that you can't avoid getting emotionally invested. This isn't really a stand alone movie but then again it never aimed to be. It is one for the fans and to get the most out of this movie watching the series really does add to the experience.
Theres a real sense of isolation and solitude about this movie. The dialogue is often sparse but it serves a purpose and drives the movie. Maybe that was quite deliberate and indicative of Jessies loneliness and isolation.
It really does have a satisfying conclusion and knowing that a battle weary pinkman finally ends up in a better place literally and figuratively does make you pump your fist in the air and shout 'yay jessie'.
