I HATE HATE HATE open endings... feels like I wasted a bunch of time. Otherwise it would have been a 'watchable', 3 or 4 star, decent, albeit somewhat slow, TV show.

So far I think it's 'watchable' - that's why I'm giving three stars. That being said, and before knowing it has the same co-creator, it felt a bit like 'Lost'. 'Lost' had some very intriguing storylines...but it was incredibly inconsistent, as if there were a bunch of different writers who didn't know what the other wrote. It ended up making absolutely no sense whatsoever. I REALLY hope it won't be like that.
