Delightful film, great story line, Alec Guiness superb as Denry and Petunia Clark lovely as Nellie. Denry is dedicated to his mother, so similarities with Kind Hearts & Coronets in that respect. Aspects of 'local lad makes good'. I have watched this film over 10 times,never tire of it, highly recommend you to watch it.

Exceptional acting, very credible episodes (apart from when Capt Sawyer fell into the hold -story line here was stuffed or the scene was stuffed, he fell by stepping backwards & not pushed)
