Re-Covered in many ways that album that you want to keep in your home, for the smooth feeling, maybe for romance, maybe to set the mood slow and peaceful. Several songs that leave an impact are Treacherous, All Will be well (a must listen), someone like you (co-written with Adele), Not ready to make nice, When the stars come out (with Chris Stapleton) and Never meant to love you that just leaves you with unapologetic hip vibes. Each songs here evoke emotions that are peaceful, at times jazzy but spellbound.

If you know the band Semisonic, it is because of "Closing Time" perhaps which is through this album. The title is adequate enough to describe your feeling as you listen to. In many ways the song bring out about the positivity that you can never have imagined. The album is lyrically a masterpiece, musically a rock fest and to those that listen to it, a genuine experience that leaves them feeling strangely fine. That's easy enough to say. Just a listen to the songs, Closing Time, Singing in my sleep, Never you mind, Secret Smile, DND, This will be my year, California are just the right mood, mood setters. If you have not bought or listened to these yet, your loss.

Each song, on its own from this album has the capability to enthrall you in the depths of its meaningful lyrics. The songs including free life, easy silence, breathless, against history, come home angel, all kinds, cry, hand on my heart leave you spellbound and emote in you the deep aura of what Dan Wilson intended. It is to be expected from such a multitalented personality. This album is a breath of fresh air. I am not just reviewing this as a fan, but as someone who listens to and listens to them happily for the lyrical richness, meaningfulness, the journey that they take me to.
