"Reconditioning: Change Your Life In One Minute" is a great book that any reader who is looking to change their life should read. It is written in a very clear and engaging style and is full of stories that reinforce the issues being talked about: gratitude, struggles, overcoming fear, determinations, self-defeat, chasing your dreams, etc.
The book is not a bible nor another ten-step process that we often find in this genre. It is frank and honest and shows practical ways of changing your life, reconditioning your mind and living a healthier, wealthier and stress free life. The chapter on gratitude, Chapter 12, is particularly enlightening as it show that we are sometimes successful, but never take the time to count our blessings. We keep fighting to succeed, rather than take stock of the successes we already have.
For me, the best chapter was Chapter 5 entitled, 'Change Your Life In One Minute'. It talks about how it takes just ONE MINUTE to make a decision to change things that you have been reconditioned to do in your life.
Itayi moved from Zimbabwe at the young age of 24 to Switzerland and 19 years later, having gone through many trials and tribulations, is the owner of three businesses, a property owner, is a business analyst, a lawyer with seven academic degrees, including a PhD in law, a Master's degree in law passed with distinction.
This book is his debut novel and it reached the Amazon No. 1 Best Seller in four categories in the first week of publication. I highly recommend the book.
