Ragin' Cajun

Barely 20 minutes in and it's exactly what I thought it would be and I hate it. The acting is beyond anecdotal. The forced awkwardness and banality of these types of films are all the same. WHY ARE THEY ALL THE SAME!?!?!?! Copy and paste copy and paste copy and paste. The directors and producers need to find new jobs. My God.

One of my favorite actors. This movie was horrifyingly bad. Lol. I am so disappointed. What a waste.

Nah, man. Not feeling this one at all. "Get Out" was a good film and I'm not comparing, but I'm disappointed in Jordan for sure. Waste of money.

The cast, the setting, the acting, the ominous music buildup. I was actually drawn in until about half way. Movie could have been so much better without dumb wind-up goblin puppets. Totally ruined...

I enjoyed this acting duo from their work in "You're Next." So The Sacrament wasn't bad at all. Story and portrayal were pretty realistic. There was a constant ominous overloom up until the real SHTF. Buildups like that are awesome because it makes you unsettled and you have NO idea what's going to happen; ESPECIALLY when it comes to cults. "Father" also did a great job on his role. Just watch it, you'll see what I mean.

Just the acting alone in this movie draws you in. Excellent job at portraying the people, the politics and the overall feeling of that era. Love Zack Efron's acting particularly. You can tell he tried to get into Ted Bundy's mind for this one. He did his homework for sure, all the way down to the weird bright eyed stare and smirk that the killer was known for from TV at the time. His charm and rage go hand in hand to portray the sociopathic behavior in the movie. You can just feel the arrogance. Good job! The music, the camerawork, everything was put together well.

Not bad at all. Very ominous vibe which I usually seek out in a horror film. I don't go out of my way to watch Emily Blunt movies like alot of people do, but I liked her character in this movie. She's growing on me for sure. Again, not bad at all.

One of my all time favorite movies. The acting is unparalleled. I still watch this movie all the time and still catch new things in it. I think what draws me in so much, aside from the acting, is the portrayal of the state of California, the people and the politics, especially during that era. I live in Southern California and totally understand the angle they took as far as showcasing California's history, heritage and landscape. Absolutely intriguing.

Liked the way it was put together. The ominous music and cinematography. The timing of everything. Some of the acting was a little too forced for me, which made it way less believable. I know it's a mockumentary, but they acted too much like one, especially the investigators. 0% believable. If it's playing, which it has been alot lately, I'll usually watch it, unless something better is on. I've seen worse.
