When I saw this show pop up on Netflix I was pretty interested. Generally speaking I like sci-fi/space oriented shows and movies. So, know that I went in hoping for something good. Unfortunately the acting and casting killed this for me really fast. I was 10 minutes in to episode 1 before I skipped to the very last episode to see what happened. The characters on this show are so unbelievable and snow flaky that I couldn’t buy into any aspect of it. There’s no military style order or discipline to this show or evidence that any of the characters have solid training that would put them in a situation like this show presents. Every character comes across far more as the type of person that sits around coffee houses sipping frappes than they do as the type of physically fit, mentally solid, and highly trained person that would be sent on a mission to make first contact with an alien civilization. One star out of five. The graphics aren’t absolutely horrible. That’s about it.
