Totally not what I expected but thoroughly enjoyed this movie - I'd thought we were going to go down the BabyDriver route...
Loveable/detestable characters; a strong theme, funny in some parts, sickening in others.
Just a very well-made scary movie.

As a fan of the originals, I was impressed.
Paid the 80s flicks due homage; was entertaining as a stand-alone. Loved the kids taking up the mantle and hope to see a second instalment back in NY.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not Schindler’s List. But i beamed the entire way through it so it’s 5stars from me. Very entertaining.
