In 2011 I had problems with handles on a Dish Drawer model DD60DCW6. 16 months after purchase the top drawer handle failed and the technician replaced it under warranty. I discussed the design of the handle with him and he disclosed he was constantly replacing handles which indicated a problem. The second handle failed and F&P said it was the way I was opening the drawer and my handle was the first failure they had had. I also knew of a number of friends who also had issues with the same handle. I finally got reimbursed when I said that the Consumers Guarantees Act applied. I was so disappointed with their service.
The technician said that supergluing the handle would fix the problem and I was able to repair other handles using this method.
