awesome flick-cast is excellent from top 2 bottom-C. Bale kills in the role of Ken Miles. the sounds, the pictures, the story, the interactions are all top notch.

this is absolutely one of the top movies of all time. the total accuracy, the direction, an unbelievable cast (one of k. Hepburn absolute best % mr o'toole as well)

one of the best war movies of all time & maybe just plain of all movies. attention 2 detail & facts is 99%. the direction, the acting, the cast, the photography, the sound & soundtrack are about as good as it gets. the details of the sub are almost totally flawless. the details of life & action on the sub are mesmerizing. there are different versions of this movie out there. (including a longer one w/ cut scenes re-added) (the scene going to the party is awesome) the quality of the dubbing is very good- however the version with subtitles captures more emotions-

The only things I enjoyed in the movie were: the complete casting (even the extras), the awesome acting (even the extras), the masterful editing, the locations both inside and out, the beautiful and detailed use of animals, the beautiful use of lighting, the fabulous costuming & it's impeccable attention to detail even on the extras & the animals even in the briefest of scenes, the award winning photography in every scene, the subtle but awesome soundtrack, and the awesome attention paid to hair of the day. Otherwise this movie sucked. (P.S. Instant Classic) (P.P.S. It is a travesty for this film 2 win zero academy awards!)

@ least one of the best if not the best Robin H. movie. The amount of research & incorporating of it in the movie in every detail was 2nd to none. the direction, casting, tremendous acting, photography, soundtrack & every other thing makes this one of the best movies of all time.

A glorious sidesplitting romp into the Victorian Sherlock Age. I truly don't remember when I saw a movie that made me laugh as much as this (Maybe "1941"). If you go to movies to be entertained then go! Maybe the movie theaters should be checking people to see if they have ANY sense of humor b4 admittance. Whoever put this movie together loves the legend of S.H. and inserted lots & lots & lots hysterical moments. In my opinion the casting was brilliant. Oscar winning musical numbers will knock you to the floor.

The people that put this abomination out should be tortured. The wardrobe, haircuts, casting, locations filmed are a farging joke This movie insults all who love this great legend.
