When the movie wasn’t taking itself too seriously and was being fun, Barbie was a great time. When it tried to prove a point, and a largely incoherent point at that, it felt heavy handed and preachy. A rewatch of Legally Blonde is a better use of time.

One of the best sequels I have ever seen. Somehow in an age of infinite budgets and CGI, it still managed to feel like a great-bad movie and didn't feel like a shameless cash-grab like so many modern sequels do. It was a most excellent film.

Exactly everything I hoped it would be. Not too meta, there was no "winking" to the audience. Just a great Nick Cage movie. Wouldn't change a thing if I could.
