A very cool take on something familiar and old, yet still fresh in most aspects. Films of this sub-genre often don't accomplish believable evil, or the lead up is so standard that you guess the set-ups, or just get bored... This provides background & entertainment to get you where it needs to be before unleashing the awesome!
A very entertaining ride, with very few flaws. Check it out if you're a fan of occult movies.

Great sets, costumes, script & acting all the way through. But the ending was the only reason it didn't get 10/10. Story and SFX were great, yet I personally didn't like the switch to electrical style power or the head split effect used. The rest of the SFX, until then, all seamlessly blended with the 70's style & then suddenly it was like 'Raiden' showed up? Followed by a good dream sequence, but then cut back to the final frames where they gave us a cool ending, but he's saying some chant that I don't remember hearing earlier & didn't understand the relevance of.
Confusing end, but still enough info for you to follow & understand what happened, even if you didn't know what the chant was about, like me.
Better than most Horror films. Give it a go! 8/10
