I am a long-time NewsHour watcher. Over all, I look forward to the broadcasts, which purport to be "balanced." This means, I presume, that both sides of a controversial issue get a voice. However, after just watching another Trump shill (this time, Kellyanne Conway (sp?)) steamroll Judy Woodruff, spewing out Trump lies/distortions/campaign talking points unabated, I am wondering this: if one side of an argument is basically the truth, and the other basically a lie; do both sides really deserve to get equal time?
C'mon, NewsHour! Get your act together! Or are you more concerned about your so-called "reputation for fairness" than for giving the viewing public what they so desperately need these days: the truth.
