Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a computer turn-based RPG that is based on the Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition rules from a small independent videogame publisher. I think it is important to note that this is from a small company that does not have the resources that the bigger companies have,
You will see this in some of the complaints that some players might have, the fact that the graphics and voice acting/dialogue is not as good as some of the latest big-budget video games. I however did not find this to be that much of a distraction while playing, the actual game mechanics make up for those deficiencies. They did a good job of making the user interface easy to understand and use, and while the speed of hitting commands is not as important as in a real-time game the layout makes it easy to issue commands to your characters.
When it comes to characters this is one aspect that I really enjoy, the fact that you create and control the 4 characters in the game. They are not pre-generated companions that join you, they are completely yours. This allows for the player to create a party that you want to play, If you want a party of 4 Dwarf Wizards you can do it. This freedom to fully customize the party to your liking is nice.
If you are a fan of turn-based RPGs then I fully recommend that you pick up this game.
