Book review on: Book 1; Warriors: Midnight Warriors: Midnight by Erin Hunter is about a group of cats who live in a forest. The heroes of the story are Brambleclaw, Squirrelpaw, Crowpaw, Stormfur, Feathertail and Tawnypelt, who are called upon a quest to find a new home for their clans. Erin Hunter is not just one person but a team of story writers who created Warriors. The original Erin Hunters were Victoria Holmes Kate Carrie and Cherith Baldry. As more and more people want warrior cats' books more and more story writers joined the Erin Hunter team. Our story begins as young Brambleclaw of Thunderclan , his sister Tawnypelt of ShadowClan , Feathertail of Riverclan And Cropaw of Windclan Each had a dream from Starclan(their warrior ansestors) telling them that a great danger was coming to the forest and that “you have been chosen to meet with three other cats at the new moon, and you must listen to what midnight tells you.” At the Gathering Brambleclaw’s sister, Tawnypelt, confessed to her brother that she as well had a dream like his “So it's decided then.” he murmured. “We meet here on the new moon.” Squirrelpaw, Firestar’s (the clan leader’s) daughter followed him and became part of their adventure. Then at Fourtrees they met Crowpaw, Feathertail and Stormfur.They decided to leave the forest in search of this midnight if they had a sign for coming from Starclan which told them to. The very next day while Brambleclaw was asleep he had a dream. He told the others about it and they left the forest in search of the place where the sun drowns. When they were journeying through a twolegplace, (town) they met an old cat named Prudy, he took them through the twolegplace and after they got through, he promised to meet them and take them through the twolegplace again. When they got to the sun-drown place, they met a badger, whose name was Midnight. She told them that the forest was being destroyed and the clans needed a new home... What a mystery! Where will they go next? Read the next book in the series Moonrise. My favorite characters in the story were Brambleclaw and Squirrelpaw.they made the story what it was! My favorite moments were when Sqirrelpaw gets stuck in a fence, while the toms were arguing, Tawnypelt and Feathertail were helping Squirrelpaw slide out with dock leaves. They mushed the leaves and spread the slippery slime on her fur to help her slide through the fence stuff and get free. In the books Squirrelpaw gets stuck a lot and I find that amusing. I love this story! The only thing I felt could be better was that you must read the first series first to properly understand what's going on .Of course I read the first series first so I know what's going on, but for readers who didn't it might be a bit confusing to them. Well I hope you like my book review! It was fun typing this down. I hope you now know what I think is important, but you still must read it to get all the juice! Have fun reading!
