Someone said that once released, a piece of art has its own life and does not belong to the creator. “Dear Comrades!” definitely has its own path as Konchalovsky could hardly expect this movie would be so crazy relevant in Russia in February 2021.
Stunning work by a great master! I hope it would get an Oscar.
