This is the coolest beginning of a movie ever. Jay Z, Michael, Jamie, Colin, Domenick, Tessa, Justin... thank you. So underappreciated. Perfect synthesis of music and film, especially the transition out of the initial scene. Incredible, the best opening scene. This film needs a fresh look and a new all-time ranking y'all. It is one of the best films ever shot.

This movie was really excellent. I'm a huge comic book nerd and movie buff, and the last approx 20 mins from when Arthur gets the trident on are the best scenes of any comic book movie ever. Including the awesome trident work/battle with Orm. This movie makes it clear Aquaman is and should be in the top 3 most powerful icons of the DCU, along with Super Man and Wonder Woman. Batman is number 6, after Flash and GL at 4 and 5.
