A fellow critic colleague of mine who goes by the name of "Zachary Dean" has summarized my feelings for this revolutionary work of art. The story of
"Candy land: The Great Adventure" most positively earns title of "Great Adventure". Before watching this theatrical masterpiece I have never seen my iron willed father shed a single tear... This movie... This artwork... I had never seen a man bawl his eyes out so hard. A tear jerking compilation of frames into scenes. Pacing has never been perfected to a degree so high as well. Watching this movie will feel like the most pleasant of years go by. When you awake from its dream-like trance to the sight of credits you will be surprised that only 57 minutes have passed. You will awake with new connections to the individual characters such as Mr. Mint, Jolly, Gloppy, Lolly and more, thinking them of friends from a distant time. And the animation. The fine lines that barely separate figures from each other. Their refinement is superb. Lighting flares are used only appropriately and exquisitely. It is a technical and storytelling marvel in my personal summary. You, your family, extended family, and fraternity must dedicate at least a fraction of your lives to watching this movie at least 37 times or you will miss each perfection it has to offer. 5 stars most positively.
