I watched this back in the day when I was in my mid twenties, I loved the film, it is a beautiful story, jane Seymour who I am a big fan of looked stunning in this. Christopher Reeve well cast. I recall being full of anticipation of him finally meeting this mysterious woman who as an elderly woman gives him a pocket watch. The idea of the storyline is unusual and the film to me is underrated and a hidden gem.

Just started watching this programme although I believe it is a few years old. I think it is excellent. If the presenters feel there might be a miscarriage of justice they employ an investigator to look into the whole case thoroughly from the start and cover the things that were possibly overlooked by the police in the original investigation. Both presenters are excellent, Fatima Silva has excellent listening skills and shows a lot of empathy towards the family of the person in prison. This type of thing of investigating original crimes is so important as there seems to be a lot of individuals imprisoned for crimes they did not commit. A very interesting programme.

I have watched this twice a wonderful film about London before it's vast redevelopment. It is interesting as social history as London used to be very much communities everywhere, real working class people. It really highlights for me the vast chasm between rich and poor these days. Yes properties were crying out to be redeveloped in the late sixties as a lot were slums but sadly over time communities get driven out and these days it is a land for the wealthy. Who would have imagined then the prices today of old council properties. A wonderful film to watch though of a time long gone.

I watched this programme for years and used to really enjoy it, now it borders on the ridiculous. It is clearly a programme aimed at the rich. So many people now cannot afford their own homes due to the housing market yet here we are with people and exhorbitantly high budgets and never seem to be happy with what they see. I think this programme is past it's sell by date as anyone watching it who has dreams for the future can have them really quashed. It rather rubs their noses in the fact they cannot come anywhere to affording these properties. It would be nice if there was a programme that reflects more of the masses but then I guess the ridiculous situation we now have in this country where property is concerned would mean no houses to show. Can these rich property searchers not find their own houses, I know I could if I had their money. Bin the programme.

This film is marvellous. Ian McKellan plays the ageing Sherlock Holmes brilliantly as you would expect as he reflects on a case when he was younger. His housekeeper lives in along with her young son. The dialogue between the young boy and Sherlock Holmes is a joy, the acting of the boy excellent. I really thought this was a wonderful film a reminder of the film Goodnight Mr Tom, a film low key not action packed but dealing with people's deep emotions. For me the best film I have watched in a long time.

I adored this programme. It was so interesting showing different things like making cider, getting a bee hive and making their own honey. Loved the chickens they bought and to see them grow and not to mention the ducks and their new house on the pond built by the beeny family. It was so interesting to see all the different rooms develop from just a building site. The sons were involved in decorating their own bedrooms. The whole family have impeccable taste. Some reviewers have complained about them damaging the countryside. Actually they are putting things right with what has gone wrong with our countryside, they have planted trees and completed work on the land to reverse what has caused flooding something that has been exacerbated by intensive farming over decades. I think the whole family are great and the icing on the cake their four sons singing in the pub, she must be a very proud mum doing an impeccable job bringing up well balanced and grounded boys.

This drama is brilliant, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It has light humour which lifts the story stopping it from being doom and gloom. There have been similar dramas in the past which are like this being a cross between serious and humorous so not sure why some viewers have such a problem with it. It shows all the ups and downs of grieving as grief is not linear. How Alice is trying to make sense of everything in the situation she finds herself in. All the characters are brilliant, the casting is first class and I like every one of them. I do hope they make a second series as this is first class.

I hear rumours the programme may be ending. Purely because some people keep moaning about it. I love this programme, it is meant to be light hearted even with all the murders, nice countryside scenery, great characters, really like Neil Dudgen in the part, great family. I do hope they don't finish it, perhaps there should be a vote. I do wish people would not take everything so seriously and get a grip. There are so many reality shows on TV which are just nauseating but a great enjoyable programme could be scrapped. Please leave it alone.
