Kenneth Branagh and Stanley Tucci as Heydrich and Eichmann respectively give a great performance which instils in the viewer how bureaucratic the whole event was. This made it all the more chilling as these per functionaries calmly got about the business of dealing with 11 million persons in the form of Europe's Jewry and packaging it all into a neat final solution, which was their euphemism for mass murder in a methodical manner. The calmness of the participants gives one a sense of surrealistic unease as they talk of mass murder in an mundane way. The whole conference was over in 90 minutes, 6 minutes less than the film. My feeling is that Toni Collette is a tour de force as an actor, and is one of the finest of this current century. The whole cast is fantastic and it is a very moving, at times hilarious, story of many lives with Joy and Allan and their marriage central to the plot line. British drama/comedy at its best.
