This for me should not be deemed a horror, the movie is a thriller at best I pray the next one is less predictable and less far fetched multiple people stabbed in the torso near if not in vital organs they survive and even worse than that are walking around as if they stood on a plug barefoot at the end of the film. The killers were too easy to spot from their first few scenes of the movie personally I would say it is a disrespect to the originals and Wes craven considering the fact he was given a tribute at the end of the movie.

The acting in this movie is so poor from John Cena who has never shown a shred of decent acting in any of his movies to Jordana Brewster who’s acting in this movie was also horrendous the cringy lines and revival of supposed dead characters just further the ridiculousness of this franchise. Guest appearances such as Cardi B just make no sense what so ever!

The idea was great, execution was poor. I thought some of the casting choices were very poor the direction of the movie and script just felt not believable, a movie such as this should have you feeling excited I didn’t feel that once throughout! I also felt the movie was longer than it should have been and there was a bit too much going on to stay interested.
