I have liked this show from the beginning. I appreciate hearing different opinions. My issue is with the way the women talk over each other. When one is speaking the others should wait to speak. I taught my children better manners than that. My issue is with Sunny Hostin. I’m sure she’s a nice person and very intelligent. However she seems to come across as an elitist and full of herself. When she puckers her mouth, rolls her eyes and has her nose in the air she seems fake. There have been times Whoopi has asked Sunny not to continue a comment but Sunny goes full steam ahead. The rest of the ladies seem to be their genuine selves, but if Sunny is expressing her genuine self I’m not impressed. Friends and family have told me they feel the same way about Sunny. She needs to dial back the high and mighty attitude a bit. Don’t hold your nose too high in a rain storm you could drown.

I have always loved the show. But since Ryan Seacrest signed on I have become frustrated. In his other shows he is the host who takes charge. Now he is always interrupting, trying to finish people’s thoughts and stories, and doing anything to draw attention to himself (often just stupid things that he seems to think are cleaver). Even when cooking segments are on I miss some of the guests comments. Ryan does his own thing because he thinks he’s an expert and again draws attention to himself. He is unable to be a good listener and appears needy for attention. I laugh when the topic of him and marriage comes up. Ryan is a control freak and would have to find that woman who likes being dominated. I find myself yelling at the tv for Ryan to shut up and listen. I taught my children better manners than that. I’ve gotten to the point of scrolling through channels to find something else to watch because I can’t continue to watch the show with Ryan on. Sad that he is so needy and insecure that he has to draw attention to himself and control. Sorry but as long as Ryan is there I’ll find something else to do.
