Am I really SO hard! I struggled to get through this. In my jaded opinion the characters were too mills and boony. Michael was too handsome. Sarah (Angel) was too beautiful. Paul was too stupid. The Altman family were too 'little house on the prairie'. How did Angel survive the life she'd been forced into without physical scars, disease etc. ????? I understand this is a rewriting of the story of Hosea and that there are 'lessons to be learned' we could all do with but....this just made my lip curl.
