Nad Peanut

I watched this in 2019 and watched it after I watched the Shutter Island. Damn! Leonardo is one great actor. Every film he was in, he actually made the film extraordinary. Also Inception storyline is great and mindblown. I love the unpredictable parts, which is every part in this movie. And the selection of the actors and actress are great. They perfectly suite every role in.

Sorry, but it was boring and doesnt make sense. The early part of the movie was good. Being born in Mars, growing up by scientists made him super cool. But after knowing he was making contact with a random GIRL on earth, it doesnt make sense anymore. They were having a live-time conversation? And that adopted kid Tulsa got cool-transparent-sciency laptop which might cost more than her bike? Who is she again? Slowly the movie was moving from bore-doom to cringer... Then there was part when they brought Gardner to get out from the earth gravity and Tulsa was in the jet too... without no basic in space-stuff nor training, she was there floating and kissing the Mars guy? Again, who is she? Lastly, she wasnt even a great student in class nor school and she hates calculus, how can she join NASA program? Is it bcuz that lonely retire astronaut adopted her to be her daughter? So you can be as broke, naughty, stupid student you are then tadaaa~ met a guy from Mars and everything changed. Overall, 2 stars for the great storyline at the beginning. But it's a big NO and nonsense at the mid part and ending. And Tulsa character isnt necessary and her existent in this movie doesnt make sense actually. She just barely know Gardner and starting being flirtatious under the sleeping bed. Meh ~
