Just finished Atypical Family, it was so well acted by every single person, I found it sensitive, funny, scary, beautiful, with some perfectly placed light moments. The complexity of the story keeps the suspense going, and I had no idea how it would end, it could have gone several ways and they would all have been ok, but the writers really knew what they were doing with this show. I don’t understand some of the jaundiced critical reviews of this series at all

Thought I'd give this a go, but soon wondered if I could be bothered with the schmalz and poor acting (from some characters, others are great). I got on with things while it was running, and by the end of the second episode I was totally drawn in, because it has heart, humour, rude jokes, morals, and is all about love. I really hope there is another series, it's acually very sweet
