This movie was soooo sexist. First of all, the male protagonist was portrayed as the sex “master”, dominating but in the worst way possible. He was abusive, disrespectful toward the woman and she was the worst example of a woman. Her character is weak and she doesn’t call him out for his abuse. She acts like an attention seeker and her reaction to being kidnapped was so unrealistic. Their “relationship” - if one can even call it as such- was merely based on their sexual needs and desires. They did not have any romantic moments without sexual comments. It was soo cringe. This is not at allll what a romantic erotic movie should be like. It was a movie promoting abuse, violence both in life and sex life and that a woman is inferior to man and that he could “win her over” by taking her to expensive travels, buying her stuff and forcing her to sleep with him... One of the worst movies I’ve ever watched- sets an awful example of what romantic/ erotic relationships should be like
