This is a funny but sad movie it will make you cry during a few parts but it's a great watch and I've always loved the iconic Bruce Willis! In this movie humans have destroyed the ecosystem and basically now the holes in the ozone layer allows the sun to burn your skin where you cant venture outside in the day without a suit on for protection. The radiation levels are so high Bruce Willis ends up with radiation poisoning. When it all first started the human race turned against each other when hunger striked killing one another for food. Finch aka Bruce Willis survives it and is all alone except for his dog but he's dying from the radiation poisoning so he builds a robot that can was standing radiation not burn and has no need to eat that can continue on and take care of his dog and keep it safe. So the movie is basically a documentary of Bruce Willis fighting the timeline before he dies in a rush to build a robot that can take care of his dog once he's gone and the robot trying to build trust with the dog while learning how to grow up and be responsible enough to care for this dog's life while also bonding and loving his creator who's dying.
