Worst Disney movie I've seen in a long time. There was no plot, no twist, no surprise, no mystery. Just a very basic idea that was revealed at the start, and played out in an episodic and plodding manner. The potential of a modern fantasy world was utterly ruined. This is an incredibly unimaginative and unmagical fantasy. My friend and I ended up skimming through most of the movie because it was such poor viewing. The end was an anticlimactic joke that had us going "Really? That's what all that was for?" There's no spectacle, no sparkling writing, no clever or deft storytelling. Nothing here but squandered potential and a banal joke of a story.
