The movie was funny yet poignant. We laugh at Florence Foster Jenkin's horrible singing, but not at her. Meryl Streep plays get as a sincere lady who really thought she sang well. Hugh Grant and Simon Helberg provide sympathetic portrayals of the men in her life.
