Typical Rajini mass movie! Superstars acting prowess has had been shown only under skilled directors. I think A R Murugadoss is definitely not one among them. But, Thalaivar as always did justice to his fans. Darbar is an old story been tried to narrate with new logical tactics?, as Murugadoss does with all his films. Picturisation was good. Casting and editing was ok. Songs and bgm were not great and didn’t emote feelings. Superstars opening is not what as a fan I wanted, otherwise Thalaivar was great all through the 2+ hours movie. All in all it’s worth spending ur time and money watching Rajini’s fighting, Rajini’s laughter, Rajini’s romance, Rajini’s humour, Rajini’s dance!, Rajini’s whatever... Not fair if not mentioned Sunil Shetty, Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, the daughter and the other villains acting which was nice watching. ITS A MASS MOVIE TO WATCH ENJOYING WITH FRIENDS, ALSO WITH FAMILY AND AS COUPLES!
