I think this movie is great because of what it represents about our society today. The comet represents COVID, global warming, racism, hate for each other to name a few things. It shows the sides between what science proves rhe facts are and what people want to believe. We want nothing that is going to interfere with our "way of life". The female president represents how far women have come in the world. The lack of morals in the president represents exactly that.. and how americans accept that behavior. The president's son represents how some presidents have thrown family into roles they dont deserve or know how to do and then when things got bad how people turn on each other. The scientists that falls for fame represents how so many people that can help us let fame and fortune be a deciding factor in resolutions. The one boy at the table represents how few people believe in God. The entire movie represents how society turn their heads to reality to benefit themselves. People ignore the facts because they dont want to see the truth. People ignore what needs to be done like getting vaccinated, wearing masks, do what it takes to control global warming, try to see what racism does , we ignore what our actions does to our young and what message we send. It is all for selfishness. The ending represents what family and love for each other should be like but at a costs too late.
