I found it to be ok. Pleasant on some levels, a little annoying, and sometimes boring, on other levels. And I must admit, I am stuck on the original Dr. Seuss classic. I can see that cartoon over and over again along with the Charlie Brown X-mas cartoon. Did not enjoy the Jim Carrey version at all; in it, Grinch was too mean and scary. That was a Ron Howard product. This latest version is a safe film for families to go see, modernized, and updated for a new generation, but truth be told, I feel the original tv cartoon is/was just better. Much better. (P.S. Max, the dog, however, is so adorable in this film!).
