I wanted to like it, I wanted to be surprised but unfortunately I wasn't. The original, even though dated is still creepy to watch and I dont think it will ever be bettered, I think because all the actors were just brilliant and believable in their roles. This, was very badly acted, William Sadler and Lewis Pullman couldn't even save it. Disappointed.

One of my favourite films of all time! The beauty of Vivien Leigh and Robert Taylor is just perfection, they have very believable chemistry. Romantic and tragic with beautiful cinematography, Mervyn Le Roy's best film. Supporting cast are brilliant too.

I absolutely love this film noir. Robert Taylor and Lana Turner at their finest, with sizzling chemistry! What's not to love!

Second time I've watched it and i still don't like it. Keanu is really good in it, Crispin Glover is just awful, overacting all the way through. I think its boring and it can't decide if it's a serious movie or not.

Harmless fun, it's a silly, easygoing, feel-good movie, with beautiful people and places. I dont understand all the hate for the swearing and nudity, it wasn't a big deal. Its not a serious romantic drama, its just a silly, fun movie. Joe Davidson was brilliant in it, and his naked shower scene was hilarious! It took a while for the film to get going, but once it did, it was pure escapism for a few hours.

Absolutely loved it all those years ago and it's still brilliant now. Adrian Rawlings is perfectly cast and the woman in black herself is so creepy! I dont mind the remake, but this is much better as it doesnt rely on jump scares.

I absolutely love this film. The ratings should be higher. The whole cast is amazing, I love the storyline and the way the story is told, just brilliant!

Beautiful movie, the acting is incredible.
