my review is from playing the ps5 version. I have put hundreds of hours into the game. My review is only 2 stars because I love the premise of the game, the warfare, politics, history etc. My review is based on the horrific performance issues that I've had since the royal court update. For any playthrough I start, once my realm reaches empire size and above, I constantly experience game crashes. This problem has only gotten worse to the point where I am experiencing a game crash every 5-10 minutes. This is extremely frustrating as more often then not I am having to fight the same wars or managing parts of my realm multiple times before I can reach the next save point before my game crashes again. I have submitted hundreds of feedback through the ps5, but I have only found the performance issues to be getting worse. Another big issue I have with the game is the stress system. Since the royal court update, I have found the scaling for the stress system extremely high. Trait features are very extremely emphasized, and traits such as compassionate, paranoid, kind, content gain stress from practically any action in the game. Some traits such as greedy are also scaled strangely, for example if I were to give a vassal 4 vassals, I would gain critical stress levels (300+), but if I were to grant my vassal an entire kingdom, I don't gain ANY stress. My review would be higher for this game if not for the constant game crashes, and other gameplay issues as the gameplay, history, and overall concept of the game is enjoyable and immersive.

So many bugs in this game, I can't access some gear and skills because random obstacles are glitched and won't move. Currently I am towards the end of this game and on 3 different occasions, I played a few hours worth of progress when suddenly the game would crash and when I'd open it back up, I'd lose hours of progress, and have to redo it all. I thought this game was extremely disappointing, considering how much I enjoyed playing origins and odyssey.
