I loved this show. I hate the cinematic echochamber(among others) the United States is willfully stuck in. We are so unexposed to international works and our own are so white washed and devoid of other cultures/religions/legends. The best I can usually hope for is watered down versions of what the rest of the world has to offer. This show was rich in culture, language, art, music, lore, references and just overall an enjoyable story. I can not wait for season two! With a limited budget, it focused on quality over quantity and suffered little for it! I would love to read the original works.
