As an ex-player and lover of fantasy lore this series was a blast. Such a well written story; the scale ramps up from a fairly standard adventure to cosmic cataclysm while still developing complex, unique and relatable characters. Even with some fun easter eggs, like a character calling someone else "broken and overpowered" (this hit my gamer funny-bone). Really enjoyed it & would recommend to any fan of good fantasy.

This show was unexpectedly great. Though it is filled with distracting gore, sexuality and other vices; the plot and characters are surprisingly real and compelling. They may be shallow relative to some other famous works but for the time the show was given, it does a great job. It was uncensored and really entertaining; not just visually either.
