Excellently brilliant Akshay Kumar as Laxmii BUT... Useless script. Zero comedy. Zero horror. I was wondering what type of movie I'm watching. How can some director with even simple knowledge can make this type of film. 1st half of the film is very boring... just a drag. I was actually feeling ashamed that my favorite actor Akshay can act in such a shabbilly written nonsense scripted movie. But the only thing to watch in this entire movie is Akshay Kumar as Laxmii- he amazingly carried the transgender role so easily that time and again I was wondering how great an actor he is and is everyday evolving to be. Long live the King!!!! I really liked the last song and feels interesting to watch Akshay in the last 19 mins of the film where he willingly lets Laxmii to enter inside him so that he can help Laxmii take revenge on her killers. His Laxmii performance in the last scenes is just above excellence. I wish Akshay Kumar all the best in all spheres of his life!!!!

I really loved the movie Submergence. Its dialogues are quite mature, filming done wonderfully and both James and Alicia deliver very moving performances, with heart-touching chemistry. The love scenes were very passionate!! The ending is nothing weird of sort, as many of the critics decide to label it. But, it could be said that the ending was of course quite abrupt, rather than systematic as it should have been like the entire movie itself. I don't know why it didn't do well but I enjoyed it a lot and don't hesitate to watch it repeatedly.

A very captivating thriller, I enjoyed a lot and keep seeing some scenes repeatedly!! Has some really gory scenes which literally causes pain in some parts of my body!! But I must say that the film is less about the original dictator Amin and more about the close bond between the characters Amin and the Doctor- Nicholas. Throughout the movie, the character of President Amin is unfolded gradually but the stress is more on his relationship with his Doctor. Whitaker has been terrific in his role- very intimidating!! The contrast in the 2 main characters portrays wonderfully. I really enjoyed those scenes particularly where the meek nature of Nicholas is threatened by the intimidation that Amin creates.

A wonderfully fresh movie... I really loved the suave personality and slow approach of Jai and the chirpy nature of Sahil. Both complemented each other. Very relaxing movie, with tensions growing very slowly. It's great to see an Indian film with this delicate subject which is considered a taboo. More such films needed to break the stereotype. This becomes one of my favourite Gay films together with Out in the Dark, Yossi & Jagger, Weekend and Brokeback Mountain.
