I loved it. Bale captured Cheney in every nuanced way. The devil was portrayed as human. The switching timelines were seamless. The story and direction also flowed with lava like movement. Inevitable, steaming, destructive, but no crescendo..it just kept coming and nothing could stop it. Frightening and yet funny at times. Rockwell was a perfect George jr. Amy Adams portrayed a rock like 'woman behind the successful man' wife without weaknesses. I could go on praising it but ...done ...
