They should have ended this when they fired Roseanne. It is just another lame sitcom now. A Step By Step revival would have more bite and clever lines. I can see why the Conner kids wanted to keep this going as they weren't going to see any acting awards anytime soon. I am surprised that Goodman and Metcalf were this desperate for a paycheck.
Revivals are tricky. The Roseanne season 10 was ok. The Will and Grace one was so bad I don't even like the original anymore. While The Conners is not worth watching, I still enjoy the original run of Roseanne. This time though I find myself rooting for Fischer.
