This movie is utter disgusting. This is the worst movie of my entire life. I literally wasted 1 hour 40 minutes of my life. The Anime and the Manga are leagues better than this movie. Please dont waste 1 hour 40 minutes of your precious life watching and complete the Anime instead. In this movie Light and L are completely different from the original ones. L had an IQ of 250 and Light had around 230, just reverse these numbers you will get the IQ of the characters in this movie. Light made so many mistakes which the original one would never had done and L just accepted those mistakes with his 0 deduction skills(in this movie). I am sorry to say I was so disappointed that i regret even considering this movie being one of the biggest death note fans. The original Light was smart, intelligent, genius, topper of the country and was a very good socially, whereas the Light in this movie, is utter garbage, failure, pervert and all the other negative adjectives you can use. Same with the original L he was the world's greatest detective, awesome deduction skills quirky behaviour , wore a casual attire and so not reckless and emotional, whereas this L was the dumbest detective of all time. The actors and the acting was at least good but the story was totally useless. With all due respect. This wasn't expected from the director. I am sorry for such language but this is the truth. I understand that the movie must not be copied exactly but this does not mean they change the whole story with the characters. I gave it a 1 star but it doesn't even deserve this.
