Overrall? While it technically wrapped things up by defeating the First Order, there were Lots of holes. The movie doesn't bring any real Star Wars excitement like The Force Awakens does. And the holes! Why are they suddenly back to the original base? Weren't they forced to leave? Did they just forget the battle in space and on Hoth, doesn't the enemy know that's their main Resistance base by now? And why are Poe, Rey, Rose and even Finn so out of character? Their interactions and reactions altogether feel Forced a lot of the time. And there's STILL NO LGBT MAIN CHARACTERS. All we get is unnamed characters kissing at the end. And why the hell did they make poe a spice runner?? Isn't that a bit racist? And rey still kissing Ben even after he, yknow, tortured her, her friends, manipulated her, physically wounded her, and is overall fairly abusive? It's toxic. It's forced. Really, it isn't all that great. Wouldn't recommend seeing, even.
