Loved this movie! The best quality movie I've seen in some time. Was surprised at the negative reviews. Yes-it is disturbing. It needs to be disturbing considering the subject matter. Yes-it does show some sexual situations (such as the rape of a young girl by the Nazi soldiers) but I felt they were handled very well. When it came to the rape you did not see the actual event-just the soldiers taking the girl away then the girl walking out afterwards injured & in shock. The movie was shocking in places but in a way that made it more like real life during a war. NOT shocking like Hollywood throwing in violence just to get ratings like they do in so many movies. Movie not really suitable for young children due to violence.
