It's definitely a movie made for kids, but it's not bad! I liked the plot twists, however the ending kind of struggled. I love the unique characters in this movie, as well as the actors! My personal favorite was the dad (Pedro Pascal) who did a fantastic job displaying emotion and the wholesomeness, and his character overall was quite nice. Everyone else was good, but it would have been nice if the parents had a little bit *more* involvement. I totally get that this is a movie about the children, but changing up the end where they free their parents and get rid of the aliens for good (and learning from their own children that teamwork is the way to go) would've been more satisfying than the aliens suddenly having a change of heart. 4/5!
